We are looking for a senior business analyst (BA / BI) who will work with our clients and understand their data and data pipelines, find issues in them, and provide solutions to developers to implement.
You will also create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate insights and recommendations to the clients and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their business needs, challenges, and goals.
- Analyze, model, and validate data from various sources and platforms.
- Identify issues, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in the data pipelines and processes.
- Provide solutions and recommendations to developers to implement the changes and enhancements.
- Create clear and concise documentation, reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate insights and recommendations.
- Present the findings and deliverables to the clients and stakeholders in a professional and engaging manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, statistics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a business analyst, data analyst, or BI analyst in a client-facing role.
- Strong knowledge of data analysis, data modeling, data quality, and data governance principles and practices.
- Proficient in SQL and at least one BI tool such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or Looker.
- Ability to understand complex data pipelines and identify issues, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
Nice to have
- Master's degree or certification in business analytics, data science, or a related field.
- Experience in working with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS & Azure.
- Experience in working with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
- Experience in working with scripting languages such as Python, R, or SAS.
- Experience in working with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
