Position : Central Supply Clerk
Salary : $19 per hour
Responsibilities :
- Confirm all orders with written purchase orders.
- Ensure proper cost allocation by charging various departments for the supplies they receive.
- Fill requisitions for routine supplies and equipment from departments.
- Maintain supplies and equipment properly.
- Verify invoices, purchase orders, packing slips, etc., against incoming merchandise.
- Organize and catalog supplies and equipment for efficient handling and damage prevention.
- Respond to staff inquiries regarding products and supplies.
- Research new product pricing and submit information to the Director of Purchasing for approval.
- Follow up on back orders.
- Submit changes to the Home Office promptly.
- Assist in developing methods for determining the number of supplies and equipment needed.
- Provide written and oral reports and recommendations to the purchasing agent concerning procurement procedures as directed.
