Overview :

Mercy Primary Care - Pittsburg is seeking a full-time (40 hours a week)

Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team.

Monday Through Friday 7 : 30am -5 : 00 pm

OVERVIEW :

Assists the physician and office staff with selected duties to include clerical processing, patient preparation, scheduling, lab, x-ray and medical records.

• Clinic Schedule : Monday - Friday, availability between 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm
• Tuition Reimbursement up to $2,000 for continuing education.
• Health / Dental / Vision available after day one.

Qualifications :

Primary Care Assistant - Medical Assistant :

Education : High School Diploma or GED.

Certification : Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire Preferred Experience : 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.

Primary Care Assistant - Certified Medical Assistant :

Education : High School Diploma or GED.

Certification : Must have active Medical Assistant certification / registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA). Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
