Basden Steel Corporation is an AISC certified Steel company based in Burleson, TX. Utilizing our Texas and Oklahoma based plants and coupled with some of the industries most advanced equipment we provide structural steel services for Texas, Oklahoma and surrounding.

We are currently seeking to add multiple Project Coordinators to our team at multiple locations, including Waco, TX, Houston, TX and Louisiana.
Project Coordinator :
Objective position with a focus on training in estimating / plan reading. Development of project management skills and developing a familiarity with the Steel Fabrication and Erection process.
Provide training and experience to aide in career development.
Skills required :
- Proficient with computers and familiar with the following a requirement : Excel, Word, and Outlook, bluebeam. Experience with Tekla EPM a plus.
- Strong math and communication skills
- Detailed oriented and organized
- Familiarity with estimating processes, project management, and plan reading
Skills to learn :
- Become proficient with Bluebeam, Fabsuite, Tekla
- Work to develop skills in document control / project communications
- Record keeping / information tracking
- Develop estimating skills / plan reading capabilities
- Develop Project management skills
Job Duties :
- Provide assistance estimating bids / pricing preparations
- Aide CA’s in project data tracking (RFI’s logs, Submittal logs, updating tracking information)
- Provide assistance on Change Proposal / Supplemental contract drawing review
- Aid in documentation of records / files
- Project management of projects
