Job Details
- PATIENT POPULATION : Adults to Geriatrics - Float ICU
- UNIT SYSTEMS : Pyxis, EPIC & SBAR
- UNIT DESCRIPTION : As a Float Pool team member, you will experience diversity in skillset exposure and are an essential component to house wide multi-specialty care needs.
We determine our staffing needs daily and strategize float pool placement to be a valuable resource in covering our different patient care needs.
COMPLIANCE : Full compliance required to start on time, if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
Job Requirements
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE : - 1 year (prefers 2 if possible) - Unit accepts first time travelers
Schedule Information
- SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS : RTO : MAX 7 days, Block Scheduling Not Guaranteed
- WEEKENDS : Every Other
- FLOATING : Within facility and to sister campus if needed
- HOLIDAYS : If one major holiday falls in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays.
If three major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

- EFM / AWHONN - Facility requires staff to take an online course within a few months of hire. They do not require staff to re-cert and retake this course.
