We are seeking a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join our team in Apple Valley, MN.
We are a busy, 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital that provides comprehensive care for pets of all ages. We are looking for a compassionate and experienced veterinarian who is passionate about providing the best possible care for our patients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of emergency medicine and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
They will also be able to communicate effectively with clients and provide them with clear and concise information about their pets' condition.
Responsibilities of the position include :
- Providing emergency and critical care to pets of all ages
- Performing physical examinations, diagnostic tests, and treatments
- Administering medications and fluids
- Monitoring patients' vital signs
- Communicating with clients about their pets' condition
Qualifications for the position include :
- DVM or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years of experience in emergency veterinary medicine
- Strong clinical skills and decision-making ability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
