La S ante Health Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support healthcare providers in addressing patient needs.
The LPN will play a pivotal role as a member of the care team, delivering safe, high-quality patient care and services.
Responsibilities :
- Room patients and assist during procedures / exams
- Administer medications and immunizations
- Monitor and document patient observations
- Assist with examinations, diagnostics, and treatment
- Perform diagnostic procedures within scope
- Accurately document medical records
- Educate patients / families on importance of health
- Disinfect and sterilize instruments
- Follow infection control procedures
- Maintain supply inventory
- Assist in additional tasks as directed by supervisor
Qualifications :
- Minimum 2 years healthcare experience preferred
- LPN license in NY
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with physicians, patients, and staff
- Warm, welcoming attitude
- Experience with EHR system (eClinicalWorks preferred)
