Position Overview
Take the lead as the Southern California Sales Manager, driving our sales strategy and guiding a team of Outside Sales Representatives across the dynamic Southern California region.
In collaboration with the District Manager and Branch Managers, you'll lead initiatives to capture market share and develop the most effective sales team in the industry.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a team of Outside Sales Representatives to achieve profitable growth and meet sales targets.
- Work with Regional and District leadership to develop sales budgets, pricing strategies, and territorial plans.
- Maintain open communication with Branch, Regional, and Executive Leadership to ensure alignment and drive results.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and vendors.
- Implement sales initiatives and product launches.
- Promote a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
- Recruit, develop, and retain sales teams capable of achieving sales and service goals.
- Train and support store associates to ensure a customer-focused approach.
- Use business analytics to develop strategies, guide operations, and make informed decisions.
- Monitor and optimize the sales team's activities to ensure effective customer engagement, coaching, and planning.
- Align sales efforts to integrate local markets with national accounts, call center operations, and the company's omni-channel offerings.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and leadership abilities.
- Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of experience in field sales leadership
- Proven success in leading and developing sales teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent business acumen and strategic thinking abilities
- Ability to build positive relationships with customers, vendors, and colleagues
- Adaptability to changing environments and complexity
- High level of personal integrity and ethical standards
- Ability to interpret and implement policies and procedures consistently and fairly
- Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time
