Job Title : Plumber (Planned Preventative Maintenance)

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a respected leader in the housing services sector, for a skilled Plumber to manage Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks.

Role Overview :
As a Plumber, you will be responsible for ensuring all planned maintenance activities, including water systems and mains supply, are completed according to specifications and work packages.
This role includes fault-finding, inspections, repairs, and ensuring compliance with statutory maintenance requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform routine and non-routine plumbing maintenance.
- Identify and repair life-expired equipment and faults.
- Carry out inspections, water sampling, and risk assessments.
- Perform repairs on mains water supply and plumbing systems.
- Ensure all works are carried out to the highest safety standards and follow agreed method statements.
- Minimize wastage and continuously improve processes.
- Ensure statutory maintenance work is completed on time and compliant with regulations.
This role may require :
Working at heights and in various weather conditions.
Qualifications :
- Full UK driving license.
- Relevant plumbing trade qualification.
Skills and Experience :
- Experience with the Maximo maintenance system or similar packages.
- Experience in operating light plant equipment.
- Gas Safe registration (desirable).
- Knowledge of Legionella Control (L8).
