We offer a competitive compensation package. Responsibilities and Duties Assists in the preparation of accurate, competitive construction bids by utilizing the latest state-of-the-art equipment.

Directly contributes to the success of the company by working with the Estimating Team and Management to to build and sustain relationships with clients.

Works closely with the department to maintain estimating data, establish and maintain standardized estimating practices, and foster a solid team approach within the department.

Qualifications and Skills : Education : High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree in a construction or engineering related discipline preferred (or equivalent combination of related field trade experience / training / education) Experience : Must have a minimum of 5 years of significant sheetmetal construction estimating experience (non-residential), including for large projects, while employed by a sheetmetal contractor is required.

General contractors or roles coordinating with sheetmetal subcontractors do not meet this requirement. Experience with computerized estimating programs required.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Able to comprehend applicable construction documents. Work well in team atmosphere.

Computer Skills : Must have accurate typing skills and be proficient in using database, email, internet, spreadsheet, and word processing applications, and be willing to learn new software applications.

Must be able to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check and drug screen. Must be able to satisfactorily pass a motor vehicle record check.

Must be able to meet P1 qualifications to operate a vehicle on company business. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Must have access to drive a well maintained vehicle. Must have up to date registration with the local Department of Motor Vehicles.
