You will work with a multi-discipline engineering project team engaged in the design and engineering of upgrades and modifications to existing nuclear power plants in the following areas :
- Radiological dose calculations
- Shielding design calculations
- Radiation source term calculations
Working under the direction of senior engineers, this position will offer you the opportunity to utilize and expand your academic background in Radiological / Nuclear Engineering.
Qualifications
We do not sponsor employees for work authorization in the U.S. for this position.
Essential skills and experience :
- This position requires completion of coursework toward a BS in Nuclear Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program with a strong academic background and coursework in radiological analysis.
- Good verbal and written communication skills along with strong PC skills are required.
Experience with some of the following computer programs is preferred :
- MCNP
- RADTRAD
- MicroShield
- ORIGEN
- ARCON96
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
