PROJECT MANAGER SCRUM MASTER

Project Manager / Scrum Master

This highly visible initiative requires a seasoned Project Manager / Scrum Master who can communicate and deliver work on complex multi team projects.

You will own two scrum teams and you must be able to flex across Scrum Master, Project Manager and Program Manager duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation.
• Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality measures.
• Develops project plan and drives project milestones.
• Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders.
• Provides day-to-day direction to project resources.
• Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project.
• Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports and budgets.
• Role requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills.

specialized knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word.

This is a 12+ month contract position that will auto-renew. You will be 95% remote but will need to attend in office meetings in Midtown few times monthly (1-4 times as needed)! This is a great opportunity to work within an enterprise environment, flexible work hours, and great work life balance.

REQUIRED SKILLS :

• 10+ years of Project Management experience
• 3+ years of scrum master experience leading a software development team
• CSM is required
• Experience applying Kanban, SAFe (Scaled Agile), etc.
• Experience with successful Agile techniques : User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.
• Strong experience with Jira & Jira boards and Jira Align
• Proven experience managing implementation projects with work efforts shared across multiple 3rd party vendors and / or system integrators
• Must have capability to flex across Scrum Master, Project Manager and Program Manager roles when needed
• No job hoppers (most contracts should be 1 year plus)
• Excellent communication skills and very consultative

PREFERRED SKILLS :

• SAP - specifically assets / maintenance
• Experience managing custom development projects
• Experience transitioning from Waterfall to Agile (not a hard requirement but should certainly be familiar w / and have experience)
• SAP & Success Factors experience helpful, but not required
