Summary :
Our award-winning client is seeking an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join their team.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) plays a vital role in providing quality patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
This position requires a strong commitment to patient well-being, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of nursing principles and procedures.
The LPN / LVN will assist in various nursing duties, including medication administration, patient monitoring, and providing basic patient care.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Administer medications as prescribed by the physician.
- Collect specimens, such as blood and urine samples.
- Perform basic nursing procedures, such as wound care and catheterization.
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
- Maintain patient charts and records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Report any changes in patient condition to the registered nurse.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in team meetings and in-service training.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
Required Qualifications :
- Graduate from an accredited LPN / LVN program.
- Current LPN / LVN license in good standing.
Experience :
Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
