We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our team in the East Bay Area! You will evaluate patients, provide therapy, write reports, and supervise a COTA (if needed) in a clinical setting.
Supportive teammates and engaging caseload. Must have a current and valid license by the California Board of Occupational Therapy or Eligible.
Responsibilities :
- Evaluate and implement standardized tests for accurate diagnosis
- Provide in-person, clinic-based therapy
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Supervise a COTA (if needed) that helps clinic patients improve their motor skills, coordination, and sensory integration.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies.
- Write clinical SOAP notes.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices.
- Ability to build rapport with patients and clinical staff.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills, commitment, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
