Medical Program Manager - Full Time

This position will work with the Chief Medical Officer to develop strategies for the growth and management of medical programs at SouthLight.

As our Medical Program Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating projects and reconciling the interdependencies among them, along with facilitating communication across programs and with community partners in order to enhance services being provided.

Schedule

FT - flexible, 40 hours per week. Option to work remote 1-2 days per week.

$50,000 per year.

You will be eligible for medical benefits the first of the month following your first 30 days. We have options for a standard plan, as well as an HSA with a $300 initial contribution and up to a $25 per paycheck match.

You would receive 10 paid holidays as well as PTO hours which would accrue at a rate of 10 hours per month. After 6 months you would be eligible to enroll in our 401(k) plan which has a 4% match.

We also provide company paid life insurance, short- and long-term disability, in house and paid training opportunities, and paid credentialing.

SouthLight is also an approved employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF).

Job Responsibilities of a Medical Program Manager

  • Assist the CMO in developing, growing and managing medical programs
  • Develop and implement strategies that will maximize program success
  • Work with CMO to develop objective program measurements and performance standards across all programs to ensure consistent, high quality evaluation and goal setting
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners with the goal of ensuring resources and access to services
  • Work collaboratively with a high-performance medical team
  • Assist CMO by maintaining a calendar, planning meetings, composing reports, manage documents and communication, etc

Qualifications of a Medical Program Manager

Education / Experience

  • Minimum of a BA, MA preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with and supporting programs
  • 2-3 years leading and managing a team

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Demonstrated success developing and evaluating program models, and selecting and successfully operationalizing innovative programs
  • Proficient in using technology as a management reporting tool and experience working with information technology staff to develop and implement program evaluation systems
  • Strong project management skills managing complex, multifaceted projects resulting in measurable successes and program growth
  • Experience having worked with a high-performance, collaborative, constructive group
  • Demonstrated results in managing through complex systems and proven experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to and passion for SouthLight's mission and values
