Job Description :
The Production and Asset Manager-Senior is responsible for managing the production of video and audio assets as well as organizing, selecting, collecting, reviewing and routing assets for all projects.
Responsibilities include but not limited to :
- Oversees the pre-production, production, and post-production process for all videos and audio recordings.
- Develops extended resources to execute video direction, editing, camera operation, lighting, and other aspects of production as required.
- Assists in video, audio and other asset creation budgets and scope development.
- Manages and maintains art library and online search engine in collaboration with overall departmental efforts.
- Works with all project stakeholders and external vendors to ensure asset product correctness.
- Gathers existing art from media sites, agencies, Brands, and other sources as required Create and maintain live asset lists in a central location for accessibility by all team members for all projects, including web and print.
- Determine shot lists for photoshoots based upon knowledge of available / existing and approved / unapproved assets to maximize timing / budget efficiencies.
- Determine source location, asset number, asset description, asset responsibility, changes, product correctness and status for each asset in any given project.
- Determine retouching needs for every project, and work with graphic designers / vendors to ensure major retouching is done correctly, on time, and on budget.
- Assists with simple retouching tasks, including cropping, resizing, color manipulation, and removing artifacts to be compatible with project and legal requirements FTP assets and notify work teams on daily basis to ensure overall project efficiency and organization.
- Work with project teams to ensure assets are reviewed by Product Information and Legal departments for usability.
- Maintain ongoing dialogue with Product Specialists to stay current on product information changes, updates, etc.
- Maintain ongoing communication with all project stakeholders on asset status.
- Help maintain Asset Library for all projects, including transferring files as necessary, organizing network folders, removing old assets, etc.
- Review manuscripts and production scripts for asset needs and potential imagery issues Communicate with Interactive Designers / Producers on asset quantities and uses.
- Review subsequent script versions to determine asset naming correctness and issues.
- Maintain positive and collaborative working relationship with internal asset departments to acquire necessary CGI and media assets.
- Periodically check with all internal and external resources for new art availability.
- Work with graphic designers and project teams to determine CGI asset needs, including powertrain, chassis, interior and exterior imagery, as well as color, angle and use of each CGI asset.
- Reformat assets prior to sending out for review, based on specific reviewer needs.
- Consistently evaluate asset management processes for efficiency and accuracy Attend project-related meetings, reviews, etc.
Requirements :
- years of experience.
- Proven experience managing on-location and in-studio video shoots, photo shoots, and audio recording sessions on-time, on-budget and on-message.
- Excellent and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with production editing software, Microsoft Office applications and Photoshop required.
- Experience with InDesign preferred.
- General automotive systems and component knowledge a plus.
- Knowledge of e-Learning Author ware a plus.
