ABOUT THIS POSITION
This position is for a highly trained clinical expert with a proven leadership presence in the operating room and classroom.
It requires extensive expertise in active implantable devices, with a strong scientific background and passion for teaching surgeons and field employees.
This position requires frequent domestic travel throughout the United States.
OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE
- Lead didactic and cadaveric implant training courses for physicians, employees and other customers.
- Responsible for surgical outcomes. Actively coach and mentor surgeons during initial implants in the operating room.
- Train and evaluate Inspires’ field employees through regular training sessions and joint attendance at implants and cadaver labs.
- Implement ongoing field training, including advanced topics, remedial training, dissemination of new techniques, product launches, etc.
- Manage implant training operations, maintain calendars, open new locations, etc.
- Assist and / or serve as consultant to customers, as well as field employees, with real-time troubleshooting and complex case challenges.
- Collaborate with sales personnel on appropriate targeting for customer attendance at physician training programs.
- Provide technical expertise for regional education and training activities.
- Participate in the proactive dissemination of peer-reviewed scientific and clinical information to customers as warranted.
- Stay current on relevant scientific publications and clinical evidence.
- Maintain credentials, enabling access to assigned hospitals and clinics.
- Schedule travel arrangements via CWT to ensure multiple objectives are accomplished.
WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO OUR GREAT TEAM
Required :
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, scientific or education / training field (Master’s degree a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years in a field clinical role with a medical device company supporting the implantation of active implantable devices in the operating room.
- Minimum of 2 years in a clinical training role with a medical device company.
- Ability to travel (up to 50%+ if needed).
