Job Description
Assist in the adoption of cloudinfrastructure platforms and the integration of a hybridarchitecture
Manage Azure environmentsutilizing governance policies and security guidelines and assistwith building on these policies and guidelines
Assist in the build and integration of cloud CI / CDstack with onpremise pipelines
Work withdistributed teams to ensure that application services are properlyinstrumented to be reliably monitored and debugged
Focus on deploying the managed version of theseplatforms so it should be mostly configuration management in thetemplates or blueprints that would be created.
If there areTerraform modules or ARM templates already created that can beleveraged that should be the default operational plan.
Automate manual repeatable system processes to reduceTier 1 efforts
Collaborate with projectteams to deploy new solutions for proofofconcept efforts
Document and maintain procedures and systemconfigurations for use in ongoing support and future efforts thatrequire modifications or upgrades to the infrastructure
Key Skillsets :
Extensive handson experience with Azure Policy &Azure Network
Proven knowledge andexperience in the deployment of Microsofts Azureservices
Experience in automationconfiguration management and deployment of enterprise scaleinfrastructure(IaC) using Ansible Terraform or ARM;
Experience withcontainers and container orchestration software platformsKubernetes Docker Docker Registry etc.
Experience with relational and NoSQL platforms specifically SQL MIPostgres and Mongo. Kafka is an added bonus but databases and theirconfiguration support is where Im focused.
Knowledge of configuring monitoring solutions and the creation ofdashboards (Dynatrace Splunk Prometheus Grafana)
Experience with either Linux or Windows environmentsand scripting languages bash python Ruby Powershell etc.
Software development experience (Java Go Node JS)preferred
Motivated to participate inongoing learning and growth through pair programming code reviewsapplication of new technologies
