The MRI Technologist performs quality images per physician’s orders while providing excellent care to patients.
This is a part-time (0.8) position working rotating day / evening shifts M-F and will primarily support our Edina Crosstown and Burnsville locations.
Typical weekday shifts would be between the hours of 5 : 30 am - 1 : 30 pm and 12 : 30 pm - 8 : 30 pm. This role may also involve some weekend support as needed, typically between the hours of 8 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm.

Essential Functions :
- Perform MRI procedures in close proximity to super conducting magnet on designated portions of the body for physicians’ use in diagnosing and treating illness or injury
- Inform and prepare patients for procedures
- Maintain patient files, including internal and external films
- Prepare, clean, and stock work area with supplies
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair
- Maintain the necessary precautions for exposure to the static magnetic field and non-ionizing radiation / radiofrequencies
- Communicate implant safety concerns and expectations to care teams and patients to ensure patient is able to tolerate MRI exam comfortably
- Any and all other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements :
- Graduate of an ARRT approved program
- ARRT Certified in Magnetic Resonance or a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in a MRI department required

- Prioritize workload while being flexible to meet the expectations of the daily operations

- Travel to other work locations, if required
