Salary Range : $34.65 - $35.69 per hour
Overview : The Colorectal Surgery and Urology Unit at Albany Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join their team.
This unit specializes in providing post-surgical care to patients who have undergone colorectal and urologic procedures.
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement physician orders and administer medications
- Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients
- Direct and guide ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards
Minimum Qualifications :
- Graduate of a professional nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license
- Certification in BLS / ACLS / PALS / TNCC
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional development
