WORK SCHEDULE : Part-time, 80% FTE, 32 hrs / weeklyDay ShiftDEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION : The Cardiac Rehabilitation Program at UW Medical Center - Northwest has operated for 20 years.
The program is certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation and is staffed by a medically-trained, multidisciplinary team of nurses, exercise physiologists and dietitians, with oversight by a board-certified cardiologist.
Patients enrolled in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program participate in exercise sessions supervised by critical care nurses and exercise physiologists specializing in cardiac rehabilitation.
Exercise classes are conducted with treadmills and stationary bicycles, as well as hand weights, yoga balls, and other stretching and toning equipment.
