Job Details :

• Coverage : Ongoing
• Specialty : MD / DO Anesthesiology
• Shift : Monday Friday; Mix of available shifts (8, 10, 12, 24), client prefers candidates with flexibility to work varying shifts, schedule made one month in advance; no call or weekends
• Setting : Hospital 496 Bed Medical Center 20 OR’s 5 Outpatient Surgery Center Rooms
• Daily Responsibilities : General surgery, colorectal, pediatrics, endocrine, surgical oncology, vascular, endovascular, and more;

OB to include labor epidurals, and GI candidates stick to their assigned room each day performing their own cases, but facility does employ CRNA’s as well - candidates should be comfortable with the rare occurrence of needing to assist

• Call Schedule / Responsibilities : No Call but if interested, they may discuss
• PPD / Census : Depends on shift and area designated
• Number of Providers Per Shift & Support Staff : In the OR / L&D doing own cases but other Anesthesiologist out of room;

Minimal CRNA supervision, if any

• EMR : EPIC
• Credentialing Time frame Timeline is 12 weeks from the time application is submitted as target start but could start sooner depending on how quickly credentialing is completed
• Will a licensing candidate be considered : No California License required
• Is Telemed : No
• Is Telemed Onsite : Yes
• Housing / Travel Accommodations : Prefer local candidates

Requirements

• Active Unrestricted CA License required
• Active BLS certification
• Board Certified
• Vaccination Requirement : Required
• Must have clean malpractice
