Physical Therapist Job in Woodbridge, VA
Are you a physical therapist looking to join an amazing integrated healthcare practice? Look no further! Dr. Mac’s Wellness (Holistic Medicine, Physical Therapy, and Lifestyle Center) is currently seeking a Virginia-licensed Part-time / PRN physical therapist to join our team in Woodbridge, VA.
Physical therapists are often overworked and underpaid. They often see too many patients in a day, work long hours, and are constantly pressured to hit their metrics.
This can be incredibly frustrating and lead to burnout. Physical therapists should be able to focus on their patients without having to worry about these things.
That's why we offer a supportive environment with a manageable patient load so you can focus on providing the best possible care.
What type of patients will I see?
As a physical therapist on our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of patients, from athletes to post-surgical patients to individuals with acute or chronic conditions.
What kind of clinical experience should I have?
The ideal candidate should have experience in evaluating, diagnosis, prognosis, manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
What are the responsibilities of the Physical Therapist Job?
You will be responsible for creating and progressing treatment plans. The typical workload is roughly 3-5 Evals per week, less than 4-6 patients per day, and the ability to have all notes completed on-site to avoid the stress of taking them home.
We also prefer that you work with the patients you evaluate for better outcomes.
