Kidcreate Studio is an art studio just for children. We are looking for a lead teacher for weekend parties and events!
Candidates should be enthusiastic, reliable, artistic people who enjoy working with children 3 to 12 years old. Candidates should have a great sense of humor, be extremely organized and calm under pressure, and have a flair for parties and events.
At Kidcreate Studio, we offer art classes, camps, workshops and art-themed birthday parties for kids. In our classes, children create fridge-worthy masterpieces, learn art concepts, and experiment with many different art materials.
Kidcreates curriculum, designed by art education professionals, is tailored to match the developmental needs of children at different ages.
We offer fast moving, energized classes for high energy toddlers, preschool classes that encourage children's growing independence, and school-aged classes that encourage self-confidence and creativity.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work part-time weekends in a fun, friendly, artistic working environment.
The studio is owned by a local entrepreneur who is passionate about kids, quality art education, and the local community.
Our two studios are located in Dana Point on Pacific Coast Highway, and in Aliso Viejo at the Town Center. We are looking to fill this position at both locations, so you could work in the one that is closest to you.
Our lead teacher for parties and events will work Saturdays and Sundays. Hours will vary by week, but teachers will know their schedules at least 1 week in advance.
Education Requirements :
High School Diploma, College Preferred (completed or in progress)

Skills and Knowledge
- Ability to manage groups of young children in a party, festival or event environment
- Ability to work comfortably with parents and caregivers
- Ability to keep track of plans, details and paperwork
Other Requirements :
- 18 years or older
- Criminal background check
- Reliable transportation
- Flexible availability - weekends
- Able to lift 25 pounds regularly, 50 pounds on occasion
Primary Responsibilities
- Preparing projects (using provided curriculum)
- Leading parties and events
- Interacting with children and caregivers
- Managing assistant teachers
- Promotion / marketing of classes and events
