About The Position
Job Title : Occupational Therapist / Certified Hand Therapist Job Specialty : Hand Therapy Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (08 : 00 - 17 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : N / A Experience : 1-3 years of job-related experience preferred License : Current Occupational Therapy license in the State of Ohio Certifications : - Current Hand Therapist certification - Current CPR certification required at the time of hire Must-Have : Flu Vaccine (Medical / Religious Exemptions Only) Job Description : Assume a dynamic leadership role on interdisciplinary patient care teams.
- Identify patient care needs and develop a plan of care and goals in collaboration with the patient.- Provide a wide variety of treatment techniques within the scope of practice.
- Offer education and support to patients and families.- Facilitate continuing care planning.- Participate in staff management and cost management.
- Engage in professional practice activities.- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.- Contribute to overall department effectiveness.
