We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Onsite Registered Nurse to join our team in Waconda, OR, for the 2024-2025 school year.

This role involves providing general nursing duties and care for a young student population, from infants to Pre-K.

Responsibilities :

Provide general medical care and first aid to students aged infant to Pre-K.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Conduct routine health assessments and screenings, including monitoring growth and development.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records and documentation for all students.
Educate and advise staff and parents on health-related issues and best practices for early childhood care.
Implement and oversee health protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy school environment.
Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.
Collaborate with healthcare providers, parents, and school staff to address individual health needs.

Requirements :

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.
Experience working with young children, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage medical emergencies effectively.
Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Knowledge of pediatric health issues and best practices for early childhood care.
