Completed a court reporter training program. Must obtain an Iowa Certified Shorthand Reporter license within one year of employment. Certification must remain current. The Court Reporter will purchase and maintain court reporting software and stenotype machines and / or verbatim recording equipment. Travel required.
Overview
The Fifth Judicial District of the Iowa Judicial Branch is seeking qualified candidates for immediate Court Reporter openings. The position will include travel within the Fifth Judicial District, with some positions requiring more travel than others, and may be assigned to work with any Judicial Officer as needed. Compensation includes base salary plus transcript income and the State of Iowa benefit package. Starting salary is dependent upon relevant courtroom experience and is expected to be at the base of the pay range for new State of Iowa Judicial employees.
Hours : Monday – Friday 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM
Location : TBD
