Position Details :
- Title : Special Education Teacher
- Location : San Jose, CA
- Duration : SY 24-25
- Onsite / Virtual : Onsite
- Position Type : Contract
- Working Hours : 30-32 hours weekly, from Monday to Friday
- Student Age Group : Elementary
- Case Load : Moderate-severe 2nd / 3rd / 4th graders
Responsibilities :
- Teach Special Education / SDC for 1st-2nd Grade or 2nd-3rd Grade students with Moderate-Severe disabilities.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Collaborate with parents, staff, and other professionals to support student success.
- Participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications :
- Valid CA Educational Specialist credential.
- EL authorization.
- Autism authorization.
- Moderate-Severe authorizations.
