Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors? Join our not-for-profit organization, dedicated to providing over 100 years of quality housing and services in a Christian environment. We are looking for compassionate individuals to join us as Nursing Assistants (NA)!

Position Details

  • Facility : Various locations
  • Shift : Varies
  • Job Schedule : PRN (as needed)
  • Travel : Must support multiple locations within 150 miles of your permanent address

Compensation & Benefits

  • Mileage reimbursement provided
  • Weekend shift differential : $25 / hour
  • Evening / Night shift differential : $25 / hour (6 : 00 PM – 6 : 00 AM)

    • Your Role as a Nursing Assistant

    As a Nursing Assistant, you will be a vital caregiver, providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Your responsibilities will include :

  • Delivering age-appropriate care based on residents' physical and psychological needs
  • Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Obtaining and recording vital signs
  • Providing psychosocial support and personal care
  • Facilitating safe transfers and mobility for residents
  • Creating a positive dining experience by assisting with meals and snacks
  • Documenting resident interactions and communicating changes to the charge nurse
  • Supporting wellness and recreational programs to encourage resident participation

    • What We’re Looking For

  • Experience : Long-term care experience preferred (6 months preferred, 3 months required)
  • Education : High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Certification : Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of starting
  • Additional Certification : Qualified Medication Administration Person (QMAP) certification may be required depending on the facility
  • Skills : Strong communication and documentation skills, ability to work as part of a team

    • Working Conditions

    This role may require you to be classified as a Sanford Category II Driver, which involves maintaining a valid driver’s license and meeting medical qualifications for driving as per our policy.
