Position Details
- Facility : Various locations
- Shift : Varies
- Job Schedule : PRN (as needed)
- Travel : Must support multiple locations within 150 miles of your permanent address
Compensation & Benefits
Mileage reimbursement providedWeekend shift differential : $25 / hourEvening / Night shift differential : $25 / hour (6 : 00 PM – 6 : 00 AM)Your Role as a Nursing Assistant
As a Nursing Assistant, you will be a vital caregiver, providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Your responsibilities will include :
Delivering age-appropriate care based on residents' physical and psychological needsAssisting with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressingObtaining and recording vital signsProviding psychosocial support and personal careFacilitating safe transfers and mobility for residentsCreating a positive dining experience by assisting with meals and snacksDocumenting resident interactions and communicating changes to the charge nurseSupporting wellness and recreational programs to encourage resident participationWhat We’re Looking For
Experience : Long-term care experience preferred (6 months preferred, 3 months required)Education : High school diploma or GED preferredCertification : Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of startingAdditional Certification : Qualified Medication Administration Person (QMAP) certification may be required depending on the facilitySkills : Strong communication and documentation skills, ability to work as part of a teamWorking Conditions
This role may require you to be classified as a Sanford Category II Driver, which involves maintaining a valid driver’s license and meeting medical qualifications for driving as per our policy.
