Job Summary :
In this role you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the team. This part-time position will include regular communication with clients via phone and email, processing requests for various insurance documents, and general administrative duties as needed.
Responsibilities :
Respond to client inquiries via inbound phone calls and email correspondence.
Assist with scheduling and preparing materials for meetings.
Prepare and process requests for certificates of insurance.
Assist with insurance applications and submissions for both new and renewal business.
Maintain exposure schedules including vehicle, equipment, and property for clients.
Monitor account contracts and policies so as not to miss expiration dates.
Qualifications :
Proficient in MS word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, and Adobe Acrobat. Experience with insurance customer database programs a plus, but not required.
Excellent customer service with strong communication, multitasking and organizational skills.
Ability to handle occasional pressures related to completing tasks within time frames and meeting deadlines.
Must be able to work independently and prioritize effectively, with the ability to work on projects requiring concentration and attention to detail.
