Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago are seeking pediatricians to join our primary care clinic and population health research group.
We are seeking applicants with interest and experience in population health research, patient reported outcome measurement, or quality of care research.
Applicants must be Board certified in Pediatrics and have formal post-graduate training in Health Services Research. Applicants should have evidence or scholarly productivity and clinical experience.
Fellowship training in general academic pediatrics and / or a masters level degree is preferred.
We are seeking a pediatrician to join one of our growing primary care practices, Lurie Children’s Pediatrics at Deming and Lurie Children’s Pediatrics in Uptown.
The Deming practice is located in a large, multispecialty outpatient center in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago.
The Uptown practice is located in the heart of the diverse Uptown neighborhood on Chicago’s far north side. At either Faculty Practice location, this attending physician will be responsible for providing primary care to medically complex children in addition to supervising in the residency continuity clinic.
The faculty practice will emphasize the provision of primary care to a predominantly publicly insured population, as well as providing a medical home to children with special healthcare needs.
We are accepting applicants for a faculty position in the Investigator, Physician-Scientist, tenure track. We are seeking applicants with experience in general pediatrics.
The Division of Academic General Pediatrics provides clinical and teaching opportunities at Lurie Children’s Hospital and at our satellite clinic locations.
Our Division of Academic General Pediatrics sees over 18,000 patient visits at one of four outpatient locations, with over 8,000 visits at our Clark-Deming location and nearly 10,000 at our Uptown location.
We provide medical health services, including support for mental health care appropriate for management in the primary care setting, for children and adolescents.
Approximately 85% of our patients are Medicaid beneficiaries. The Division of Academic General Pediatric addresses important clinical and population health problems of children through state-of-the-art interdisciplinary methods and collaborations.
We serve a very diverse patient population, who speak over 20 different languages. The Division of Academic General Pediatrics serves as the major continuity clinic site for the Northwestern University McGaw Residency in Pediatrics.
The Smith Child Health Research Program addresses important clinical and public health problems of children through state-of-the-art interdisciplinary methods and collaborations.
The Smith Child Health Research program currently holds over 50 awards, totaling $3.16 million in funding.
Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital is the primary pediatric teaching hospital of Northwestern University Medical School.
We are seeking applicants for an appointment of Instructor or above in the Clinician Educator track at the Feinberg School of Medicine, depending on experience.
Applicants must be Board-certified in Pediatrics, with up-to-date maintenance of certification. Salary and benefits are competitive.
