- Spread awareness of the Company’s brand as a leading global provider of fund administration services to the funds and investment management industry.
- Develop new business for the Company through lead generation, proposal development, and managing sales processes to successful closure.
- Create and explore new business opportunities for Hedge Funds / Real Assets / Private Equity / Crypto Currencies services, i.
e., new clients, new services, new markets and geographies, and maintain a network of intermediary relationships.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and their potential impact on the Company.
- Build the Company’s market awareness via attendance at industry conferences and meetings, including proactive establishment of marketing and meeting prospective clients and networking at such events.
- Ensure status of all leads and clients are regularly updated in the CRM database.
- Assist the Company’s international affiliates with their business development activities, including representing the Company in global business development calls.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with 'influencer' communities.
- Communicate proactively all updates and action points across the organization.
- Maintain relationships and act as point of escalation with key clients.
Required Minimum Qualifications :
- 10+ years of experience in financial services sales, preferably real assets, private equity, or alternative asset management, with an understanding of fund administration and / or private investment operations.
- Professional work experience and / or significant contacts in the hedge funds / real assets / private equity industry.
- Demonstrable negotiation, communication, relationship, and team skills.
- Significant degree of self-motivation, direction, and integrity.
- High level of comfort preparing and leading presentations to prospective clients.
- Must be willing to periodically travel to conferences and industry events.
- Proven experience in negotiating and closing complex deals utilizing the consultative approach.
- Experience working closely with senior-level management.
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Marketing.
Remote or Hybrid work :
You will work at the Company’s Oakbrook Terrace, IL office at least three / four days per week and other days remotely from home.
