Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Mid-to-Senior level Originator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, structuring, and closing middle-market lending opportunities with private equity sponsors and corporate clients. This role requires a proven track record of building and managing relationships, a deep understanding of leveraged finance and M&A, and a strong ability to drive deal execution from origination to close.

Responsibilities

• Business Development & Origination : Proactively identify, source, and develop new middle-market lending opportunities, primarily through relationships with private equity sponsors, investment bankers, and other intermediaries.
• Relationship Management : Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key industry contacts to generate a consistent pipeline of high-quality deal flow.
• Deal Structuring : Work with internal credit and underwriting teams to analyze potential transactions, assess credit risk, and structure customized financing solutions that meet the needs of both the client and the firm.
• Pipeline Management : Build and manage a robust deal pipeline, ensuring timely progression of opportunities and providing regular updates to senior management.
• Due Diligence & Execution : Oversee the due diligence process and coordinate with legal, credit, operations, and portfolio management teams to ensure efficient and effective transaction execution.
• Market Analysis : Stay current on market trends, competitor activity, and industry changes to identify new business opportunities and inform strategy.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including credit, legal, operations, and portfolio management, to ensure a seamless client experience and successful transaction completion.
