Sigma Defense is seeking a sea-launched attack missile exercises (SLAMEX) / Tomahawk land attack missile (TLAM) exercise Training Lead to perform work in Damn Neck - Virginia Beach, VA.

The ideal candidate is a highly skilled Training SME with knowledge gained over years of experience at senior levels. They promote greater information sharing for staffs and stakeholders and provide realistic, reliable, and consistent support along with well-developed recommendations to various audiences in training and real-world events.

They will maintain the integrity of the training objectives and a knowledge base that is consistent with the requirements covering the full spectrum of tasks listed in the contract.

SMEs serve as the catalyst for developing and evaluating requirements, providing expertise and insight to support programs and leaders at all levels, including very senior levels, in both civilian and military sectors.

This is a contingent position that is pending award of contract. This means that the position is subject to the successful awarding of a contract and will be confirmed once the contract is finalized.

Requirements

8 years of relevant experience in the following :

• Subject matter expert for respective task requirements (e.g., Academics, Warfare Area(s), Program or Policy support).
• Training manager.
• Developing training curriculums.
• Conducting fleet / joint training assessments to identify gaps, training needs, and solutions.
• Delivering training in person and / or online.
• Developing and modifying training event / exercise scenarios.
• Managing training projects.
• Team and / or project leader.
• Designing custom training to meet training objectives.
• Public speaking and presentation skills.
• Engaging Senior Staff at the Flag Officer / Director / Manager level.
• Handling multiple priorities and interruptions with minimal impact on productivity / deliverables.

5 years of experience in the following :

• TLAM program including involvement in all major phases of TLAM training events (Phases I thru III).
• SG or NFC or equivalent involving TLAM training.

2 years of experience as JSAF operator.

Education Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an unspecified field of study.
• 10 years of experience is required if no degree is held.
• Equivalent to a degree is two years of Resource Band experience.

Personnel Clearance Level :

• Candidate must possess an active, DoD-issued Top Secret security clearance. A TS / SCI is required for this position.
• A clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive) :

Support Tasks :

• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of TLAM exercise and certification schedules.
• Coordinate with lead exercise planners and directors from partner training organizations during planning and execution of synthetic training events involving TLAM scenarios / vignettes.
• Develop TLAM certification program requirements and scenarios and provide TLAM certification program management support.
• Develop, refine, supervise, and conduct distributed synthetic unit and SG TLAM proficiency assessments for certification purposes.
• Provide expertise for all aspects of the TLAM training program including Doctrine, NFC procedures, ROE, TTPs, and best practices.

Salary Range : $80,000 - $100,000 annually.
