Job Title : Med-Surg / Tele Float Pool Registered Nurse

Location : Asheville, NC

Compensation :

• Minimum pay rate : $30.00 per hour - $44.50 per hour
• Sign-on and relocation bonuses will be offered on a case-by-case basis.

Certifications & Licensure :

Must have and maintain current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply;

licensee should confirm with NCBON.

• BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• National Certification in the area of specialty is preferred.

Required Experience :

• Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Acute Care (hospital) environment, with a focus on busy units and high patient volume.
• Nurse / Patient Ratio : 1 : 5 (may occasionally be 1 : 6).
• Nurse-driven and autonomous work environment with modified self-scheduling.
• Additional support provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
• Experience in the Emergency Department (ED) is welcome.

Differentials :

• 2nd Shift : $4.00 per hour
• 3rd Shift : $6.00 per hour
• Weekend : $3.50 per hour
• Differentials are stackable.
• This position is eligible for an extra $5.00 per hour float pool premium once off orientation (8-12 weeks).

Qualifications :

• Current and valid licensure as a registered nurse
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Required, Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Preferred
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• National Certification in the area of specialty is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Acute Care (hospital) environment with experience in busy units and high patient volume.
• Experience in the Emergency Department (ED) is a valuable asset.
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
