Hematologist Oncologist Position AdventHealth Winter Garden, Florida

Overview AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a dynamic, energetic and team-oriented fellowship trained hematologist oncologist to join AdventHealth Medical Group at our AdventHealth Winter Garden location, not far from Downtown Orlando.

• This opportunity would provide inpatient and outpatient services to that community seeing a variety of hematology and oncology patients.
• The practice would also align with AdventHealth Apopka collaborating with two physicians and two APPs. Infusion services also available at Apopka just down the road + Radiation and Surgical Support will be available throughout our system + Access to research, clinical trials, Phase 1 and tumor boards (daily) + The ideal candidate will have experience with practice building in a new market and seeing a variety of hem malignancies and solid tumor patients.
• Rotation of call would be shared with the other physicians in the practice including weekends + Practice will have support of nurse navigators, social workers, chaplain support, pharmacy, nutrition etc.
• Extended network of 6 other medical oncology sites surrounding Orlando + AdventHealth was ranked by US News & World among the top 50 in the nation for six medical specialties : CANCER ;

diabetes and endocrinology; gastroenterology and GI surgery; neurology and neurosurgery; obstetrics and gynecology; and orthopedics.

Requirements of the position include : + Board certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification / eligibility in Hematology and Medical Oncology + Experience with practice building in a new market is preferred The AdventHealth Cancer Institute is a comprehensive program offering medical oncology, surgical oncology, radiation oncology, pediatric oncology, neuro-oncology, Gyn oncology, bone marrow transplant as well as research.
