Job Description
Controller Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the month-end close process, focusing on process improvements to speed up the close process, automate it, and minimize errors.
- Lead the effort to reduce the close process from 8-10 days to 5 days.
- Hands-on involvement in the close process, including booking journal entries, bank reconciliations, and other with the warehouse to ensure accurate inventory tracking and conduct inventory cycle counts.
- Collaborate with the warehouse to understand raw materials inventory, inventory usage, and ensure accurate inventory records.
- Manage the cost accounting function and provide support to the pricing team.
- Manage the relationship with the external tax advisor, communicating with them and requesting necessary information.

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Prior management experience
- Manufacturing industry or relevant industry
- CPA is nice to have
- Strong system experience and integration implementation experience
