McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is currently accepting applications for a Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to work and care for the patients at its Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program in Hickory.

Clinic hours operate from Monday to Friday, 5 : 00 am - 12 : 30 pm, and Saturday to Sunday, 6 : 00 am - 9 : 00 am.

How will you help us achieve our mission? :

• You will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the OTP (Outpatient Treatment Program) setting.
• You will administer medications to clients and ensure compliance with doctor-prescribed treatments and protocols.
• You will maintain meticulous records and notes, documenting client interactions, treatments, and progress.
• You will conduct thorough intake assessments with new clients, gathering essential information for personalized care.
• You will obtain vital signs from clients and assist with physical examinations as need or as ordered by the doctor.

What are the qualifications needed for this role? :

We're looking for someone who is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Nursing as an LPN or holds a license with multi-state practice privileges by authority of the Nurse Licensure Compact.

Prior experience with SUD / MH population preferred but not required.
