Location : MIDLOTHIAN, TX, US, 76065
- Must be able to operate a Truck Tractor in a safe manner
- Perform backing and turning of combination vehicle in tight working areas.
- Maintain required trip logs, records, and manifest.
- Complete all needed paperwork on a timely and accurate basis.
- Maintain vehicle appearance and cleanliness.
- Make minor repairs to truck tractors and trailers.
- Assist in loading and unloading as necessary.
- Perform other related duties as required.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS :
- Good communication skills.
- Must possess a Class A CDL.
- Good, clear verbal skills, English.
- Must be able to read and write English and comprehend at High School level.
- Familiar with DOT regulations concerning equipment safety.
- Must be able to work with little to no supervision.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Commercial Truck Driver or completed Truck Driving School and one year of driving experience.
- Must be able to pass FMCSA DOT physical and Drug screen.
- Must be able to work required hours to complete all necessary tasks.
- Need good hand-eye coordination with a high level of dexterity.
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders (up to approx. 20 feet)
