We're Western States Lodging & Management , and we're hiring a full-time Director of Renovations with strong project management skills and the ability to bring visions to life!
This position is based in South Jordan, UT with some travel required. We offer a salary of $85,000 - $95,000 / year along with excellent benefits such as :

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a similar field
- 10+ years of experience leading large-scale renovations in hotels and healthcare facilities
- Ability to travel up to 75%
Our ideal Director of Renovations has some project management experience, is skilled at meeting budgets and timelines, and is familiar with building codes, health regulations, and safety standards.
The ability to manage multiple projects would be beneficial. It'd be a plus if you're familiar with hotel brands like Hilton, Marriott, or IHG.
WHAT TO EXPECT AS OUR DIRECTOR OF RENOVATIONS
You have a standard Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm schedule. Travel will be required to different hotel locations.
As a vital member of our hospitality team, you masterfully oversee multi-million dollar renovations across our various hotel brands and ensure every project goes off without a hitch.
Your work directly impacts our customers, and you collaborate with stakeholders, designers, contractors, and procurement teams to facilitate smooth communication across every project stage.
This role keeps you on your toes as you build relationships with vendors, contractors, and suppliers and effectively negotiate with them to obtain the best pricing on materials and labor.
By staying on top of budgets, timelines, building plans, supplier contracts, and other project management documents, you have a direct hand in each successful renovation!
