Overall Internship Program Description : The program is a paid summer internship for students seeking career growth and development in Purchasing.
The participants will be exposed to multiple functions and levels in the organization thru shadowing, attend process improvement training, lead a process improvement project with defined outcomes and provide support on transactional work.
Timeline : May 14th - August 9th
Intern Roles and Responsibilities
- Extensive research
- Initiate and attend meetings
- Analyze both quantitative & qualitative data
- Creating PowerPoint & Presenting
- Shadowing in multiple departments
- Application of new learned topics (six sigma, lean etc.)
