Anesthesia Technician - Center City - Full Time - Nights (10p - 6:30a)

Anesthesia Technicians are responsible for the following :

Cleans, prepares, and sterilizes (using STERIS system) anesthesia equipment.

Maintains stock of medications in designated areas.

Provides assistance to the nurse coordinator and other technicians as needed.

Night Shift : 10 : 00pm - 6 : 30am

Readiness to learn with new Honickman Center

Anesthesia Technicians are responsible for maintaining each OR site with appropriate gas machines, monitors, drugs, and supplies while also assisting anesthesia personnel as needed to provide efficient and safe patient care.

Qualifications for this position include :

High School Diploma required

ASATT certification or equivalent experience is preferred

Excellent computer and mathematical abilities

Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI finger print based federal criminal records check.

The selected candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three (3) are completed satisfactorily.

Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jeffersonrsquo;s clinical entities or at the University.
