What We Are Looking For :
We are seeking a highly experienced project manager who specializes in managing construction materials testing projects and has performed the testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, and aggregate and has transitioned to managing projects and supervising field staff to ensure the highest level of quality and compliance with industry standards.
Our technician staff has doubled in size over the past year, reflecting our thriving and expanding operations. We are looking for the right individual to spearhead complex projects and lead them to success.
About The Role :
- Project Management : Lead and manage dynamic Construction Materials Testing and Special Inspections projects of varying scales, providing your technical expertise, and overseeing every phase, including budgeting, scheduling, and project deadlines.
- Client Engagement : Engaging closely with clients to grasp their unique project needs and going the extra mile to ensure their utmost satisfaction.
- Revenue Growth and Networking : Cultivating a robust local client base and expanding your professional network to drive revenue growth that aligns with our ambitious financial goals.
- Development Leadership : Taking the lead in local and regional business development endeavors, amplifying our presence through strategic marketing efforts.
- Proposals and Reports : Reviewing and crafting proposals and reports of all sizes and complexity tailored to project specifications, industry standards, and client preferences.
- Mentorship : Nurturing and guiding a team of skilled professionals, project managers, and field-based personnel, fostering their growth.
About You :
- You have a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management or closely related field
- You have 10+ years of combination of performing testing and / or managing Construction Materials Testing and Special Inspections projects
- You have 8+ years of experience in a project manager role
- You have a strong working knowledge of applicable ASTM, AASHTO, and DOT standards and procedures, IBC Special Inspections, and geotechnical recommendations
