Certified Medical Assistant
Duration : 3 month contract to hire opportunity - reliable candidates will be converted to permanent employees
Shift : M-F 7-4, or 8-5 (4X10 schedule could be applied)
Multiple specialties available
Pay Rate : $21-27 / HR based on experience
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a strong background in medical assistance.
Duties
- Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures
- Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, recording patient medical histories, and preparing patients for examinations
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Schedule patient appointments and tests
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant
- Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or other relevant medical settings preferred
- Familiarity with patient service principles
- Understanding of anatomy and medical procedures
- Experience working with diverse patient populations such as geriatrics or pediatric patients
