Overview :
The Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician performs and interprets analysis on patient specimens using complex laboratory techniques.
The Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician Provides medical staff with information to aid in patient diagnosis.
Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications :
Medical Laboratory Technician
- Education : Associate degree in a major acceptable to a certification agency for MLT
- Certification / Registration : MLT ASCP or equivalent
Medical Technologist I
- Associate degree with MLT ASCP certification & 3 years clinical experience
- Approved Military Training (if applicable)
Medical Technologist II
- Education : Bachelor's degree
- Certifications : MT or MLS (ASCP) or equivalent required
