We're seeking a Maintenance Technician 1 to join the growing team at our optical manufacturing facility in Plano, TX.

Hours : 1st Shift : - Mondays-Fridays, 6 : 00am - 2 : 30pm

Job Description

This Maintenance associate is responsible for more routine tasks of our maintenance operation, completing duties that support the maintenance team and experienced maintenance technicians, and performing more entry level responsibilities for servicing and maintaining equipment in the production lab.

Equipment duties may include :

• Preventative Maintenance on equipment, maintaining PM checklists
• Handling work orders to resolve machine issues and minimize production down time
• Servicing CNC Edgers and Generators : cleaning, performing routine tasks, changing or fixing parts and recalibrating
• Maintaining Edgers and Blockers : keep filters and components clean, change cutters, checks for prism and axis
• Following the company's "Lock out / Tag out" procedures
• Servicing other equipment and systems in the lab and other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• No specific education is required
• Minimum 1 year prior experience in Industrial Facility Maintenance
• Must be able to read and write English
