Plant Manager - Plastics Manufacturing - Base Salary to 170k / year - Chicago, IL
Our client is an industry-leading plastics manufacturing company. They are seeking a Plant Manager to represent their company.
This is a great work environment, and the plant is in excellent shape.
Responsibilities :
- Creates a culture that promotes safety as a top priority.
- Monitor KPI’s to track performance and identify areas of improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement, and constantly evaluate productivity.
- The plant Manager is responsible for development, training and coaching of staff.
- individual and team goals for staff and provides continuous feedback.
- Responsible for all operations in the plant on all shifts.
- Conduct timely annual reviews and evaluations of staff.
- Manager budgetary responsibilities, including cost control, inventory, supply chain, and forecasting.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and technological advancements, implementing best practices to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Qualifications :
- 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (plastics preferred but not mandatory).
- MUST be fluent in Spanish.
- Experience in utilizing Lean and Kaizen initiatives to improve plant efficiency.
Compensation :
- Base salary to 170k / year, plus up to 20% target bonus
