Shift Details : 50% weekends, 50% holidays per unit needs. 12-16 hours on-call per 6-week time block.

St. Vincent's Medical Center is looking for a dedicated Postpartum Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. We offer a comprehensive benefit package designed to support our nurses and their families.

Responsibilities :
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Coordinate all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs.
- Delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel.
- Participate in daily interdisciplinary patient rounds.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized plans of care.
- Participate in activities for professional growth and development outside of patient care.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Current Connecticut RN license.
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association.
- Associate degree required, BSN preferred.
- BSN required and labor and delivery experience.
- Two years of Medical-Surgical / Critical Care experience preferred.
