Due to our continuing growth, Amphenol Alden has a need for talented individuals to strengthen our team. While the Business Development Manager position is currently based out of our location in Brockton MA, we will be moving to a more modern facility in Stoughton MA by year end.

Job Summary : Drive new business growth in assigned markets (or regions), establishing a beachhead in new segments while securing market leadership in our more established segments.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Bring product, technology, and market expertise externally to our customer base and internally to our team.
  • Understand price, cost, and margin dynamics and leverage them to take market share from competition.
  • Establish strong business relationships at key accounts and target accounts with key decision makers and technology leaders.
  • Facilitate the inception and launch of new standard products and services.

Skills / Qualifications Needed :

  • Demonstrated record of success creating new business in a sales or marketing role.
  • Experience selling or marketing of electromechanical components or other technically oriented products.
  • Experience or strong understanding of manufacturing methods and key business metrics.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel globally (up to 50%).

Desired Skills :

  • Contract review.
  • Marketing such as creating press releases or product brochures.
  • pricing / costing experience.
