Position Overview :

Business Development Associates are responsible for utilizing Brooks’ expertly defined lead generation methodology to target, initiate and develop relationships with qualified new prospects and together with a dedicated Managing Partner, generate revenue for the firm.

Business Development Associates first research and analyze the current economic landscape of their assigned territory, then interface directly with top tier CEO prospects by making contact and setting a meeting (through a direct phone conversation) to introduce them to a Managing Partner and Brooks International.

The Business Development Associate will perform in-depth pre-meeting research on behalf of the Managing Partner and preemptively assemble a perspective on the prospect’s impactable business situation.

Together, the Business Development Associate and Managing Partner create a highly intelligent, focused, fact-based strategy (utilizing Brooks International’s established methodology) to convert each prospect to a client.

Associates are tied directly to organizational revenue, driving new business opportunities in a variety of different industries, including Manufacturing, Private Equity, Oil & Gas, Energy, Aerospace, Accommodation, and many more.

This position leverages the firm’s decades of experience as a premier professional services provider.

Career Path and Compensation :

Successful performance at the Business Development Associate level will lead to several accelerated opportunities and avenues along the career path in both Business Development and Management Consulting, with both paths leading to Managing Partner.

The expected on-target earnings (OTE) is as follows :

  • Year 1-2 : $150,000 - $250,000
  • Year 3-4 : $250,000 - $325,000
  • Year 5+ : $500,000 - Unlimited

In This Role You Will :

  • Generate leads and work in tandem with a Managing Partner, and as a team, be assigned a pre-existing database, moving prospective clients through the business development cycle and creating a client experience that is consistent with the firm’s Methodology.
  • Deeply embed yourself in understanding and monitoring the economic landscape of your assigned territory, becoming an industry-agnostic expert in the current business happenings of your assigned territory.
  • Conduct in-depth research and develop and execute strategy tailored to each prospect, for the purpose of converting a prospect to a client.
  • Be involved in each phase of a client transformation, supporting due-diligence analytics and navigating account expansion opportunities.
  • Develop a critical and ongoing understanding of corporate structures, company ownership types, decision making authority, and market trends.
  • Maintain the data integrity of your territory to ensure the CRM database is accurate and contains up-to-date company information (i.

e. ownership, industry, revenue, geography, P&L responsibility, corporate address, etc.)

Maintain the daily call expectations (100 per day) and meet routine statistic requirements.

The Right Candidate Possesses :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
  • German as their native tongue
  • 1-3 years success in inside sales as a lead generator utilizing a strategic outbound calling approach
